We walk our ‘Ace’ dogs in a private secure field based in Chessington that stretches across 20 acres of flatland and hills and also features a small area of woodland, with freshwater, paddling pools, shelter and agility equipment. We practice walking to heel, fetch, recall and other basic commands throughout the day. We have a separate puppy/introduction pen built into our field that is approximately an acre so that when your dog comes on their first day, they can be gradually introduced to the other ‘Ace’ dogs so they can gain in confidence, as we all know first days can be a little daunting. Our aim is to return a well socialised, happy and content dog to you after their fun-filled walk. We offer licensed home from home boarding for our regular dogs, where your dog will return to our own home with us and be treated as one of our extended ‘Ace’ family in a loving home environment.
We are a dedicated family run dog walking and home boarding business, that have a passion for dogs and in excess of 10 years experience in professionally walking and boarding.
We only provide care for regular dogs, this enables us to develop a genuine bond with them and for us, as professionals, to gain the best knowledge and understanding of their individual characters and needs. We only accept dogs that are friendly and social, that way you can rest assured that your dog will be in a safe and friendly environment.
Before any dog starts with us at Ace Dog Care, we will come and meet you in your home, so that your dog can get to know us in familiar surroundings.
We are canine first aid trained and fully insured. We also hold the OFQUAL regulated level 3 qualification in professional daycare and boarding.
Meet the ‘Ace’ family
We are lifelong dog owners, having grown up around many dogs of all shapes and sizes. It is this companionship and unconditional love that has led us to develop a passion for dogs from a very young age.
Having always wanted to work with dogs, I began walking dogs in local parks from 2014 and soon realised that this was my vocation. A year later I went to work for a doggy daycare provider and that is where the vision of Ace Dog Care was born. As a dog owner who has had to use walking and boarding services in the past myself, I know first-hand that it is paramount your dogs are in the best hands possible, so this is where we come in to provide you with that peace of mind.
